Last post for the year.

Our company has decided to take a break- it’s been fun providing you with fun information and up to date activities that are going on in the community. The owner of J&D Legends wants to talk about using different types of media throughout this class that she used and what she would recommend if this was a real business. I’ve learned so many different types of media throughout the year I don’t even know where to begin - here’s a list of social networks we used throughout the year:Blogger, Twitter, Facebook, Hootsuite, Pinterest, Vine, Instagram, and You tube. I would have to say my favorite social network is Pinterest and creating different boards with different topics was fun liking photos and pinning them to your boards and getting ideas on how to make stuff. If this were a real business I would use Facebook and Twitter and here are the reasons why

1. Reach a wide audience.

2. Find people who share the same interests.

3. Capture moments and memories.

4. Gives you a number limit.

I would also use other social media sites.

Lastly I would like to thank all my readers we couldn’t have done it without you plus we appreciated the comments you left us.

No Shave November

It’s November and you know what that means it’s men health awareness month.

No Shave November is a trend where men put down their razors and don't shave for the entire month of November. But now there's a purpose behind that. The American Cancer Society wants to use this trend to raise awareness about prostate cancer.

    1. Peter the Great taxed beards to encourage clean hair-free faces. That’s over-taxation!

    1. Pogonotomy is the fancy word for shaving. Pogonotrophy is the word for growing a beard. Wonder what the word for stubble is?

    1. The Ancient Egyptians wore fake metallic beards as a way of honoring special occasions. The women wore them too. Could this be the beginning of No Shave November?

    1. Abraham Lincoln grew a beard at the advice of an 11 year old girl who told him his face was thin. Ah, the wisdom of a child!

    1. The mustache is not without its clever nicknames: Whiskers, Crumb Catcher, Face-Lace, Lip Shadow. What do you call your ‘stache?

6.      Average human hair grows at a rate of .014 inches per day, which is about 5 or 6 inches every year.
